Kattu therapy is a little extensive form of stretching exercise in which we provide sustained stretching for a prolonged period of time which lasts for 30mins-1hour which depends upon each individual

Later he improvised the treatment method by inventing a new equipment, known as Machine Treatment according to our founder chairman. He used to the patients lower Limbs to provide external support to Knees and to align the foot into normal position. Later the treatment was called as Kattu Treatment by the people who came for treatment.

The Kattu treatment became popular among the parents who have children with Locomotor Disabilities. In those days people referred the children who are unable to walk, as polio cases, because of lack of awareness about the medical conditions. Our Founder Chairman treated such people and some cases found to have more improvement and they were able to walk again. Later he came to know about the medical condition as Muscular Dystrophy and Cerebral Palsy. He gathered information about the condition and he became very knowledgeable about Muscular Dystrophy & Cerebral Palsy.

He also developed some new adaptive device & accessory equipments to reduce adductor spasticity .The most valuable & superlative invention is that of an equipment known as Walking Machine.It is a walking simulator which gave the children who are unable to walk, a sense and some perception about walking.

After the sudden demise of our Founder Chairman Mr.R.Jayaraj in 2007, his son Mr.J.Ramasamy took over, the organisation and he was responsible for new ideologies & unconventional thinking which was helpful in development and evolution of Kattu Therapy and our organisation
